TCL launches TCL P725 smart TV with Android 11 and camera for video calls

TCL has now introduced India’s first smart TV P725 which is based on Android 11. The smart TV made its debut on Wednesday. TCL first announced the P725 at CES 2021 along with other TCL TVs such as the C825 and C725. The smart TV will be available in 4 different screen sizes let’s take a look at its specifications.

As mentioned above TCL P725 is the first Smart TV based on Android 11 to launch in the Indian markets. The company claims that the TV will provide access to 7000+ apps. the TCL P725 can run on both the stock Android TV interface as well as the company’s Channel 3.0 custom launcher. The TV also comes with builtin Chromecast which allows user to mirror photos, videos, and music directly from your mobile devices.


The TV also features an external camera which allows the user to make video calls. The TCL P725 supports features such as HDR, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. The smart TV is also equipped with Google Assistant. The TV is powered by AiPQ Engine and also features MEMC which artificially adds additional frames between original frames, bringing the content with conventional 24 or 30 frames per second to around 60 frames per second.

The smart TV comes with 4 different screen sizes with the biggest among 4 going first for sale on Amazon. The 43-inch variant will be available for Rs. 41,990, whereas the 50-inch variant will be available for Rs. 56,990, the 55-inch will be available for Rs. 62,990, and the 65-inch variant will be available at Rs. 89,990.
