For some time it was rumored that Google is working on its Smartwatch which will work on WearOS. A set of leaked images that claim to be of Google’s new smartwatch has surfaced online. Reliable tipster and tech analyst Jon Prosser were the first to post this set of renders who also claims that the project is codenamed as “Rohan”.
As seen in the to leaks the smartwatch comes with a giant circular display with a bezel-less design. If you observe closely the curves that wrap around the watch might look like that of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. Also, the straps look like that of the Apple Watch 6. Seems like Google has taken notes from both the leading smartwatch companies. Prosser hasn’t revealed any specifications yet and it is speculated that the smartwatch will work on WearOS.
Notably, the leaked images are official renders but rather digital recreation of the original renders. Though it does gives an idea about the design it is not the final design so please take this information with a grain of salt. As for the launch date of the watch, it was initially expected to launch somewhere in between October. But other sets of leaks suggest that the smartwatch will be launched along with the much-awaited Google Pixel 6. As of now, no official news regarding the watch or Pixel 6 has been announced by Google.
