LG has recently launched two new soundbars, the LG SC9S and SE6S, in select markets including the US, UK, and EU. These soundbars come equipped with Triple Sound technology and a triple up-firing speaker system and are specifically designed to be used with LG TVs.
One of the most notable features of these new LG soundbars is their world-first triple up-firing speaker setup, which provides users with a cinematic audio experience. The Smart Up Mixer is also capable of converting two-channel audio into surround sound. The LG SC9S has a 3.1.3 channel configuration and includes a subwoofer, while the SE6S outputs 3.0 channel sound.

Both soundbars also feature the WOW Orchestra, which helps to balance the sound between the soundbar and the TV’s speakers, and the WOWCAST feature which allows for wireless pairing with other devices for a more immersive audio experience. Additionally, these models support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology, while the higher-end SC9S also supports IMAX Enhanced for an even more impressive surround sound experience.
The AI Sound Pro is another feature that optimizes the audio output for different types of content such as gaming, music, movies, and sports. The LG SC9S has an output of 400W and measures 38.4 x 2.5 x 4.9 inches in size, while the SE6S has an output of 100W and measures 31.5 x 2.5 x 5.2 inches.
The LG SC9S soundbar is currently available in the US for $999.99, but prices can go up to $1,200 in other markets such as the UK and Germany. On the other hand, the LG SE6S is yet to be released in the US but is currently being sold for around $600 in the UK. The SE6S is set to launch in Germany later this month and is expected to roll out to other markets in the EU. Overall, LG’s SC9S and SE6S soundbars are an impressive addition to the market and offer a range of features to enhance the audio experience when watching TV or other content.
